| Team Spine Wins Two National Championship Titles |

Masters National Championships 2004
Park City, Utah
Team Spine riders earned stars-and-stripes jerseys and placed
their names in the permanent records of cycling history, with
victories in the Mens 35-39 Road Race and the 50-55 Criterium.
In addition, all Team Spine members attending this National
Championships placed in the top 10 in at least one race, one
Spiner won the Best All-Around Rider title, and the team took
four podium spots in one weekend.
Michael Hutchinson, the 2003 North American Masters Champion
and 2004 District Criterium Champion, powered through a two-up
sprint in the competitive 35-30 road race, which wound through
the high-altitude Utahmountains.
Powerhouse Mark Caldwell scored a decisive victory in the 50-55
Criterium,after an aggressive day. He has been quoted about
his win on theUSACycling.org and other Web sites.
Wayne Puckett and Michael Brown, District TT threats, shared
a tandem for the first time, one with no special aero' components,
yet rocketed to a 5th place finish in the 70+ combied category.
Brown later entered the 90+tandem road race and was well on
to the way to victory when an official directed them off-course
and another team snuck ahead, leaving Brown in 2nd place.
