Materials, composition and tread technology are
all contributing factors that allow bicycle racers to pedal
their bicycles to the finish line in the shortest time possible.
Each year it's our pleasure to select about 20 teams to sponsor
in their quest to cross the finish line first.
At the heart of our sponsorship program are our "grass
roots" teams. Sponsorship of these teams insures that continued
development of new riders occurs at the most basic levels of
the sport. At the top, we sponsor the De Nardi-Colpack Team
Pro Road Team. Our involvement at the highest levels of road
competition provides us exposure to fans of professional cycling
as well as technical information from the sponsored riders.
In 2004 Serguei Gonchar (Ukr) from the De Nardi team won a stage
and finished second at the Giro d'Italia.
All of the input that we receive from our teams contributes
to produce the finest bicycle tires available today. None of
this additional R&D would be possible without the hearts,
lungs and legs of the cyclists on the teams we sponsor.
We thank all our teams and cyclists for giving their all to
keep Panaracer tires at the front of the pack and at the top
of the podium. 2004 has been an exceptional year and we wish
our sponsored teams continued success in 2005. |
