The new ZSG Natural formula integrates more natural rubber into the compound. This compound has the same low rolling resistance as the premium compound and it has enhanced wear resistance making it perfect for a long wearing training tire. Protex Shield is our big news for 2009. A proprietary additive that adheres to the casing that makes tires 3 times more puncture resistant than other casing reinforcement systems. Super light-weight, Protex Shield is provides sidewall to sidewall tube protection. 400D Cord technology increases side-cut resistance of our tires while improving the rigidity during cornering. This casing reinforcement helps protect the tube from punctures without adding weight to the tire.
